News and results | Programme | Concept
For two days, the City of São Paulo has hosted a diverse array of talks, networking, and engagement designed to inspire new perspectives and fast-track the transition to an advanced, low carbon, global bioeconomy.
Today, the use of fossil fuels in transportation and industrial production contributes up to 35% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Sustainable biofuels, bioenergy, and bioproducts shall play a crucial role in fighting climate change.

I Biofuture Platform Policy Conference
The Biofuture Platform is an intergovernmental, multistakeholder initiative launched by 20 countries in November 2016 to advance the low carbon bioeconomy.
